There are many reasons why your colour can fade. The main one - not using the right shampoo and conditioner. I come across lots of guests who are happy to use any old shampoos & conditioners because they haven't been educated well on the importance of using the right products for their hair and scalp type. However this is the reason your hair colour is compromised. It's important to use a colour shampoo & conditioner for coloured hair like the MUK vivid colour lock shampoo & conditioner. It helps prevent colour fade, protects your hair and adds moisture and shine to help keep your hair looking healthy and shiny. It will also bring the hair back to its natural pH, protecting the integrity of the hair.
Different factors as well as the above such as weather, hot and cold environments, heat damage, medication, how often you wash your hair and porosity of the hair etc can all have an effect on hair colour if not managed correctly. Try and limit shampooing your hair every 2/3 days or every other day. This will help prevent colour fading quickly and also the integrity of the hair especially with vivid colours and blondes.
