The ponytail

So versatile and easy to create. Here are my top 5 ponytail looks I like to create:

Low pony - quick and easy and looks great with everything. To create this look brush your hair, apply hairspray onto your brush as this will help smooth the hair and distribute the product evenly instead of feeling sticky and hard. Brush your hair slick and smooth into a low bunch, grab a hair tie and tie securely. To finish off accessorize with either a scrunching, a fancy ponytail clip or hair jewellery.

High pony - for those days you want to empower the world! Turn your head upside down so all the hair falls towards the floor, grab into a high bunch wherever you want to wear your high pony, use a flat brush to brush neatly into place and secure with a hair tie. Grab a little bit of the hair to wrap around the hair tie and secure with a bobby pin.

The gym pony - for those days you don't have time and just need your hair out of the way. Grab your hair into a bunch and secure with a hair tie. Add accessories if you want to.

The classy pony - where you can't be bothered but want to look like you've made an effort! Leave some hair out at the front to curl and make your pony look pretty. Grab your hair into a low bunch and secure with a hair tie then wrap some hair around the hair tie to hide it, secure with a bobby pin. Curl the hair left out at the front and separate a little to break up the curls. Finish off with a little hairspray or shine spray.

The messy pony - for those days you want to look a little bit put together but with an effortless look. Leave some hair out around the hair line, grab the rest of your hair into a bunch, finger comb slightly and secure with a hair tie. Alternatively you could create a plait at the top going into a pony to give it a different look.

Why don't you have a go at one of these ponytail looks!
