Gone are the days of having a bright platinum/ash blonde and in come the more darker, richer and low maintenance hair colour trends. Take a look below at these key colour trends for A/W24.....
Softer more golden/caramel tones with brunette base colours. This is perfect for anyone who is already brunette or wanting to go darker. It's a great introduction to colour for those who are naturally really dark and want yo go lighter but not too light. Giving you a richness and shine. This colour technique will give an even balance throughout and is low maintenance too. If you're looking to cover your greys and try out something new this would be a great colour to have but not great for those wanting to blend their greys in as this would require maintenance on a 4-8 week basis.
My personal favourite is to use a balayage technique but can also look good as highlights too.
Teddy bear bronde/blonde for more warmer, golden or natural highlights. Perfect for anyone wanting a more warmer/softer blonde and low maintenance highlights/balayage. This is great for anyone who is a natutal brunette to medium blonde and even those who are naturally lighter. Giving you a more sunkissed hair colour.
This technique is also great for anyone wanting to cover their greys or blending in your greys.
Great as fine highlights to give a more natural colour appearance or as a balayage.
Velvety reds and deep burgundy for richness, shine and a pop of colour. Perfect for anyone wanting something completely different or adding some colour to darker bases. Personally I'm not a fan of mixing blonde with red and feel red tones pair perfectly with darker bases or tones. Looks great with many different techniques but my overall favourites are as an all over colour for glossy richness or as a balayage.
I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with 50% grey or over however it doesn't mean for those that are can't have these colours. The maintenance for these colour techniques can be high maintenance depending on your natural hair and it's condition.
